Haltech Elite 750 – Advanced Standalone Engine Management ECU
Kit includes a Plug & Play adapter for MX-5 NA – supplied with a dedicated P&P adapter and an intake air temperature (IAT) sensor, allowing quick and hassle-free installation without modifying the factory wiring and eliminating the need to purchase a complete engine harness.
Haltech Elite 750 is an advanced standalone engine management system delivering a significant increase in control, safety, and flexibility compared to factory ECUs. Designed for both street and track projects, it provides true motorsport-level capability in a compact and durable package.
The unit is housed in a robust, fully sealed IP67-rated enclosure, making it ideal for demanding environments, including motorsport applications and intensive road use.
The ECU enables precise fuel and ignition control across the entire engine operating range. Load sensing can be configured using TPS, MAP, or MAF, allowing the control strategy to be tailored to virtually any engine setup. Depending on the engine configuration, injection strategies can be set to sequential, semi-sequential, or batch.
In terms of engine safety, the Elite 750 features advanced protection strategies, including:
- Advanced knock control
- Configurable RPM limits
- Boost limits
- Pressure- and condition-based engine protection strategies
These systems allow the ECU to actively protect the engine under high load or fault conditions, reducing the risk of mechanical damage.
The Elite 750 also supports modern fuel strategies, including full Flex Fuel tuning via direct ethanol content input. This enables automatic adjustment of fuel delivery, ignition timing, and boost targets based on ethanol percentage, without manual map switching.
The ECU operates with Haltech Nexus Software Programmer (NSP), providing an intuitive yet powerful tuning environment with advanced features such as:
- High-resolution 3D fuel and ignition tables
- Per-cylinder fuel and ignition trims
- Long-term learning strategies
- Closed-loop control
- Extensive data logging and analysis capabilities
